Playtest Participation Agreement (EULA)

1. Purpose

This agreement governs your participation in AnkleBreaker playtests and supplements the Terms of Service. By accessing a pre-release build, key, or Steam Playtest access, you accept this agreement.

2. Limited licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to access and use the pre-release builds made available to you, solely for testing and feedback within the program.

You may not copy, distribute, resell, sublicense, decompile, disassemble, or reverse-engineer the builds, nor circumvent technical protection measures, except to the extent permitted by mandatory law.

3. Confidentiality

Pre-release builds, keys, artwork, and non-public information are confidential. Unless you have prior written permission, you agree not to disclose, distribute, stream, capture, or publish them.

Where a playtest is subject to a separate NDA, that NDA applies in addition to this agreement.

4. Feedback and intellectual property

You remain free to give or withhold feedback. By providing it, you grant the publisher a free, worldwide, non-exclusive, perpetual right to use, reproduce, and incorporate that feedback into its games and services, with no compensation and no obligation of attribution.

The games, trademarks, content, and software remain the exclusive property of the publisher or its licensors. Nothing in this agreement transfers any intellectual-property right in them to you.

5. No warranty

Pre-release builds are provided “as is”, for testing. They may be unstable, incomplete, or changed at any time. To the extent permitted by law, they are provided without warranty of any kind.

6. Conduct and sanctions

You agree to fair use: no cheating, no malicious exploitation of flaws, no circumventing protections, and no sharing of your access.

Any breach may lead to revocation of your access and, in the case of ban evasion, removal of all accounts linked to your identity (see Terms, sections 3 and 7).

7. Termination

Your access may be suspended or revoked at any time — in particular on a ban, at the end of a playtest, or on breach of this agreement. When your participation ends, you must stop using and delete the builds and keys in your possession.

8. Governing law

This agreement is governed by French law; the courts of Versailles have jurisdiction as set out in section 10 of the Terms. Contact: playtest@anklebreaker-studio.com.
